She joined judicial services in 1981 and since then, she was posted in many capacities like , Presiding Officer C.B.I cases, Matrimonial cases, Drugs and Narcotics cases, offences regarding Atrocities, Criminal cases, Civil cases, President Consumer Redressal Forum, wherein she made national record of disposing off  228 cases in a day. During Bastar posting dealt with many criminal cases accrued in dense forest areas.

During Durg posting, she held the post of Chief Judicial Magistrate and during the last posting, she retired from the post of President Consumer Redressal Forum.

She was also a member of World Association on Vedic Studies, wherein, she wrote articles on mythology.

During her student life, she represented MP state National Championship.

After retirement, she decided to educate financially weak children with her initiative “Neki ki pathshala” for which no fees is charged. There are about 60 kids from level PPI to 12th and PSC UPSC and Civil Judge entrance exams aspirants.

Apart from this she is also a member of Lions’ Club Durg and Inner wheel Club Durg through which she always get opportunities to serve our society
